El presente proyecto surge a partir de mi reexpresión sobre la peculiar vinculación que el individuo establece con los objetos, centrándome en este caso particular, en los zapatos.
En este proyecto los zapatos son concebidos como una extensión del propio ser.
Ellos guardan memorias de los pasos recorridos; también son un almacén de vivencias, anhelos, recuerdos, ausencias...
Es una temática que nos pone frente a frente con aspectos socio – económicos y culturales. Nos da cuenta, del género, la edad, status socioeconómico de las personas y, amontonados, remiten también a las masacres. Así mismo, lo vinculo con las huellas que los migrantes dejan a su paso. Con el estar en movimiento, en tránsito...
A nivel plástico, me interesa utilizar zapatos viejos; objetos totalmente ajenos al grabado, para convertirlos en un soporte técnico e introducirlos así, en las cuestiones formales de la gráfica.
This project arises from my re-expression on the peculiar link that the individual establishes with objects; in this particular case, it focuses on shoes.
In this project, I conceived the shoes as an extension of the self.
They keep memories of the steps taken; they are also a storehouse of experiences, desires, memories, absences...
It is a theme that puts us face to face with socioeconomic and cultural aspects. It informs us about the gender, age, socioeconomic status of the people and, piled up; the shoes also refer to the massacres. Likewise, I link them with the footprints that migrants leave in their wake. With being in motion, in transit...
At the plastic level, I was interested in using old shoes, objects unrelated to engraving, turning them into technical support, and introducing them in the graphic's structural issues.
